The Neepawa No-Stars originated as the traveling All Stars in 1979. They played in tournaments and were made up of players from the local Neepawa Natives Intermediate team and the Neepawa Commercial League.

In 1981, they became BJ's Touring No-Stars, named after their major sponsor a local sporting goods store. Then in 1984 the No-Star players made a full time commitment to the team. They began playing against other recreational teams (approximately 2 games a week) in southwestern Manitoba and competing in 5 or 6 tournaments a year. It was at this point they became known as the Neepawa No-Stars. The tournaments have since gone by the way side, other than a couple of local tournaments but the team does continue to play twice a week averaging 35 to 40 games a season.

Original members still on the team are Dave Speiss, Buzz Bradley, Doug McLaren, Russ Elliott and Murray Black.
